These murals are painted directly onto walls. It is possible for murals to be painted onto boards for mobility - once a mural has become a much loved part of the family home it can prove to be a real wrench to leave behind when moving house.

What happens next

I would like to talk you through what happens at our initial meeting. This for me is the most important part , because it is from here that we begin the process of creating together. After some discussion about your ideas, the most important aspects of the mural, themes, colour schemes and the area to be painted, we will look through my portfolio so that I can find out what inspires you, I will give you my ideas and between us we will produce a final plan of the area. . This is the point that the real work begins for me. During this process I make sure that I am on the same wavelength as you. I know when this has happened, because I can feel myself effervesce inside and the image of the mural will pan out in my minds eye in glorious Technicolor. From this point onwards all of my creative energy is on this mural.
